Well what you will need for this easy project will be,
1) Electrical contact cleaner
2) #20 torx security bit
3) Some type of soft clean rag or towel
If you look at your air cleaner directly behind the filter box you see a black box with a wire connection on it. This is the MAF. You'll need a torx security bit because the center portion has a metal tab the will not let you use a regular torx bit. I got mine at a sears hardware store, if you have trouble a auto parts store may have one. Back to the task at hand, use the bit to remove the two screws. Carefully pry off, and when you do you will see two very small elements on the underside (take special care not to break elements they look fragile) . Take your electrical contact cleaner and spray on not too much but not to little. Carefully dry with towel.
While you at it remove the O-ring from which the sensor came and spray down there as well. Wad the rag up and clean. Let dry and viola you now have saved my money by preventing corrosion on the sensor.
